At Bloode, we are driven by a singular mission: to ensure that no one in Greece suffers due to a lack of blood. Since our inception in 2014, we have been dedicated to creating a culture of regular, voluntary blood donation, fostering community solidarity, and transforming the way people perceive the act of giving blood.

Our Story

Bloode was born out of a personal crisis that illuminated a systemic challenge. When one of our founders faced the struggles of securing blood donations for a loved one, it became evident that the existing system could not meet the needs of those relying on blood transfusions. Inspired to make a difference, we began as a small initiative and have grown into a dynamic organization that is reshaping the landscape of blood donation in Greece.

We envision a Greece where 100% of the country’s blood needs are met through voluntary donations. What We Do

Raise Awareness: We conduct campaigns to educate the public on the importance of blood donation, dispelling myths and encouraging more people to contribute regularly.

Provide Emergency Support: In critical situations, we mobilize resources to meet urgent blood needs, ensuring that no patient’s health is compromised.

Our Impact

Since our founding, Bloode has organized over 250 blood donation events, activated thousands of blood donors, and facilitated the collection of life-saving blood units for patients across the country.
